Thanks to Kitt's and Luke's calls of good minors starting at 0555 many folks were able to make it over to SB! According to Kitt, SB had good minors from 0555 - 0606 with vertical play at 0605 and 0606. @ 0608 and at 0610 the minors had sustained "granding" and were all running together. Her call was "this is going to go"! start @ 0612. Also got wonderful calls from Mara around 0100 of good minor activity with some vertical play. After yesterdays lack luster play, (SB had dis-improved exponentially from the previous day) it was great to hear calls of increasing activity! Pauses or complete shutdowns were observed at 0808, 0818, 0820, 0821 & 0831! The start had a beautiful sunrise orange hue as the chevrons and steam grew taller and taller! whew!

During my time there I noticed an approximately 50 minute push at around 2045 where it was consistent with level 2 runoff with the occasional 3. At 0056 there was another decent attempt in which there were 2 bursts from SV that put level 4 runoff down and was accompanied by 3s afterward, but only lasted about 30-40 min. I had been watching it since 0442 and it hadn't been consistently putting out level 3 runoff until around 0530, a few minutes before Kitt's arrival. Around 0607 I was at steerage and watched the runoff turn from a 3 to a 4, then to a 5 all in the course of 5 minutes or less before it took off at 0612.
