Water visible in Morning. Higher than normal for this point in a regular cycle. Water visible from the boardwalk by 1022. Water level peaked when Clepsydra turned on strong. Morning held the same water level unlike Fountain that dropped quickly. 1300 slight drop in Morning's pool but it's still very high. |

Water level was high along with Fountain prior to Fountain's eruption start at 1812. In the first minute of Fountain, Morning's pool had some convection and a small clutch of large bubbles in the back of the pool before being drowned by both Fountain and Morning's Thief. It then filled to just a few inches below the pool level of Morning's Thief and stayed there until Fountain quit at 1837. After Fountain it dropped more quickly than Fountain and seemed to go lower than Fountain, but it did not drain. |

Pool very high, along with Fountain. Apparently in a stall. "Beach" area completely submerged, water level maybe 1 foot below rim. It was steamy but the pool appeared to be calm with no visible boiling along the back side. Water level also visible in Morning's Thief. |

Water in Morning was high on arrival, and easily visible from the boardwalk in front of Fountain. Observation throughout the period showed Morning to have nice boiling and a lot of convection. Activity continued until Morning erupted as part of the trifecta. |

Arrived at 6h40m since previous Fountain and the entire peninsula on on the west side of the crater was above the water level. The water in Morning rose very slowly, finally covering the island next to the peninsula about 8h after Fountain. From then on the water level continued to rise with increased boiling; by 9h20m after Fountain there was vigorous bubbling in 3 different spots along the north (back) side of the crater with occasional bloops up to 6 inches inches high and visible convection. During this entire time there was nothing but light, wispy steam coming from Morning's Thief. Fountain's water level was also very high by the time its eruption started 10h07m after the previous eruption; Morning immediately had a 2-foot boil on the north edge, then a dome to 8-10 feet with waves across the entire pool and then bursting to start the eruption. |

After rising to a high water level with good boiling prior to the Fountain start, Morning had strong boils in the minute after Fountain, building to a wide boil at least 6 feet tall. Then Fountain had a very tall burst, Morning's Thief blipped, and Morning went calm and dropped before being drowned. |

When I drove by Morning today at 1345 I thought the run off channels were wet so Morning had just erupted. But that did not jive with the earlier Fountain time, so I went back out. I think now what I am seeing is ice in the Morning channels, so maybe there was an overnight or early morning eruption. Or a early dual. |

Arrived at Fountain at 1011, water visible in Morning and Fountain. Fountain pool rose 3” around SFP at 1018. Morning pool dropped at 1039, but recovered by 1048, while Fountain also got somewhat higher. Morning North edge boil started around 1055, got gradually stronger and started to include center pool convection. Convection continued while pool continued rise right up until Fountain start at 1408.
Morning had a boil over vent at Fountain start, then lost view of activity due to steam.
Strong SW wind was blowing water from Fountain directly into the Morning pool
After end of Fountain, Morning pool continued at high level for a few minutes until draining out of view by 1451. |

Water in Morning was just visible upon arrival at about 1230. From then on, Morning rose slowly but mostly steadily. As it got close to time for Fountain, Morning rose a bit more quickly. It became steamy and had continuous boiling along the back wall. I saw one brief small boil in the middle. (It was a windy afternoon.) |

Water first became visible in Fountain and in Morning at 0935. Fountain rose a few inches with start of 2nd SFP at 1101, and held steady at that level until the usual rise right before eruption.
The Morning pool was more variable, noticeably dropping around 1138, only to rise again and begin boiling slightly at the North edge. Some convection and a few lazy bubbles observed in center of pool periodically over the next 2 hours.
Large Morning boil at start of Fountain at 1327, proceeded quickly to bursting and eruption. |

when I walked out at 0700, the stairs going down to Fountain were very wet. The lower boardwalk was dry, as was the overlook, leading me to think maybe a big burst lay down there...in the evening it was where I was watching Fountain, and the stairs were DRY when I left the area after the 2131 eruption. No rain overnight. Twig was also dry along with Fountain. |
