7373 10 Oct 1967 @ 1800 --- research-mab 10/10/1967 Chocolate Fountain – full far above pool edges. Has cut runoff channel on South, boiling mildly with water ebbing and flowing. Color is lighter brown.
7366 27 Sep 1967 @ 1800 --- research-mab 09/27/1967 Chocolate Fountain – no evidence of any major activity, but erosion and mud coating around the pool indicates that the pool probably fills and overflows as far as 3 ft from the normal edge of the pool. A runoff is developing to the southwest. Sections of the pool’s bank have caved in, enlarging the pool on the south, southeast, and northwest sides.
