19960 10 Oct 2021 @ 1815 10 Oct 2021 @ 1835 Tara Water level was rising with boiling along the SW edge when I checked a few minutes into Fan and Mortar which started at 1812. The pool reached peak height around 1823, just before F&M's first pause. It was higher than I have ever seen it, less than an inch below the vegetation line on the SE corner. As soon as F&M paused, the water level began to drop slowly.
18789 31 Jul 2021 @ 1937 --- Tara Water level rose significantly during Fan and Mortar's eruption, nearly to the level of the vegetation around the crater. This was accompanied by heavy boiling along the southwest rim which ranged from a few inches high to stronger surges reaching 6-12 inches. This is the most I have seen from "Norris Pool" in at least a decade.
