19221 01 Sep 2021 @ 1925 01 Sep 2021 @ 1935 Micah Kipple UNNG-GHG-15: the northernmost vent is bursting 6"-1'. I have not observed it splashing this vigorously for the whole summer. I also suspect this activity is new based on the fact that larger splashes are striking gravel on the edges of the crater and washing it into the pool. Where suspended debris was already present when I walked up.
19230 01 Sep 2021 @ 1624 --- MAB Norris: Sinks Trio - right lobe of the trio seen dry Aug 22 full - center lobe full - left lobe that was in high pressure steam now full and IE - Crescent shaped pool behind had small boil not the vigorous IE seen when left lobe was in high pressure steam

16912 24 Apr 2021 @ 0950 --- DanS Round Spring LGB - bubbling and overflowing. Was down below rim almost a foot last evening.
16905 21 Apr 2021 @ 1500 21 Apr 2021 @ 1600 Micah Kipple OBSERVATIONS: Round Spring in the Thud Group is very hot, cyan blue in color, with energetic steam bubbles flaming at the bottom accompanied by lots of pops and rumbling. Overflow exits from either side of the spring (North and South) and heavy bacteria doesn't appear for several feet beyond the spring. I saw no wash or debris from a major eruption, and the activity and overflow appeared to be steady throughout my hour of observation. While there was no wash or debris, the high heat and vigorous flaming in the vent make me hesitate to rule out an eruption. The observations are thus inconclusive. INTERPRETATIONS/THOUGHTS: I trust my coworker on what he saw, he was very specific, and I could imagine that a small 2-3 foot bursting eruption from Round Spring could get away without leaving any evidence. So I think it erupted but it was either a singular event, or it is erupting on long intervals. Further study and observations are needed.
16904 21 Apr 2021 @ 1423 --- Micah Kipple My coworker Matt reported that he saw the spring (Round?) right next to the road in the Thud Group erupting 2-3 feet "Like a mini Sawmill" I am going to investigate and will report back with more details later.
16841 04 Feb 2021 @ 1503 --- Micah Kipple Crackling lake spring/geyser (whatever the feature is on the backside. Is completely off. No splashing seen
16840 04 Feb 2021 @ 1449 --- Micah Kipple The amount of water coming down from above Pinwheel has doubled since last week. Runoff is slightly cloudy now.
16430 15 Oct 2020 @ 1418 --- jonp Percolating Spring - WTGB. Continuous 1’ boil. Is it possible to add this feature to the GeyserTimes database? Thank you.
16050 06 Sep 2020 @ 0729 08 Sep 2020 @ 2129 underarockphoto Blue Mud Steam Vent was a steam vent until the snow storm, after which it was a perpetual spouter shooting mud 2-3ft.
16048 06 Sep 2020 @ 0727 08 Sep 2020 @ 2127 underarockphoto Root stayed at a static water level. Cloudy, light boil, and smelly. Tuesday included the occasional "bloop"
16046 06 Sep 2020 @ 0724 08 Sep 2020 @ 2124 underarockphoto Black Pit Spring, Norris Geyser Basin, next to Echinus. Frying pan all through Sunday into Monday afternoon. Wet boiling mudpot on Tuesday following the heavy rains.
15740 26 Aug 2020 @ 1703 --- Janet Jones Faint thumps heard in the East Chinaman Spring area.
15737 26 Aug 2020 @ 1331 --- Janet Jones GHG-15 (UTF on the path to Solitary on the right side as you head to Solitary) is much hotter and seems to be enlarging under the boardwalk. It seems rangers are monitoring the temperature. Looks REALLY hot. The UTF on the left side of the boardwalk has no microbes and occasionally sends up bubbles. When I went back for more documentation photos, at 1620, the side of GHG-15 (right) closest to Geyser Hill was softly roaring like a fumarole, but the left side of the large opening still had water in it and the vent closest to Solitary was splashing away.
15688 22 Aug 2020 @ 1129 --- User34 "Silver Globe Pool" Water came up above the white line and back side of pool surged to a few inches. Water level drops during Slit and slowly recovers during quiet period
15620 17 Aug 2020 @ 0828 --- CraigC water spit above the surface on feature about 30 feet to the north of three sisters spring
15585 15 Aug 2020 @ 1823 --- bbev opal spring in moderate overflow
15563 13 Aug 2020 @ 1301 --- JSJ North Angle Geyser & unnamed geyser 5.5 meters northwest of Vertical Geyser in the Sprinkler Group (Lower Geyser Basin) were still active today - same episodic eruptive activity as reported earlier in August 2020.
15470 09 Aug 2020 @ 1125 --- aferrara Around this time a large plume of steam rose ~northwest of me as viewed from the boardwalk near Clepsydra, a mile or more out, along or beyond Tangled Creek. A feature I could not identify had surges of water visible with he naked eye from the FPP boardwalk, apparently voluminous, but not extremely tall. It subsided <5m after I began observing, with visible steam continuing until I left the area. Unsure what this could have been.
15399 05 Aug 2020 @ 1200 --- JSJ Small, intermittent spitter west of Cauliflower Geyser (= just right of a sightline between Cauliflower & Island Geyser, as seen from the Artemisia Trail / Old Road). Possibly the feature seen on satellite imagery: 44° 29' 01.01" North latitude; 110° 51' 03.92" West longitude. Does this have a name? If so, I'm unaware of it.
15573 04 Aug 2020 @ 1147 04 Aug 2020 @ 1252 Tara Small mud geyser along south side of spur boardwalk at Thumb Paint Pots, West Thumb Geyser Basin. Janet Jones and I referred to it as "WT-Mud." Though larger eruptions had been reported by rangers, the eruptions we saw varied from bubbling to less than 1 foot to vigorous bursting up to 3 feet high. Intervals ranged from 2 to 5 minutes and durations were 10 to 15 seconds. We noted that if a large bubble failed to trigger an eruption, the actual eruption that followed would be more powerful. Here are the times I recorded: 1147, 1149:38, 1152:04, 1155:38, 1159:08, 1202:46 (break) 1232:50, 1236:03, 1239:56, 1241:06, 1243:08, 1247:38, 1252:42.
15377 04 Aug 2020 @ 1048 --- JSJ “South Sprinkler Geyser” - unnamed geyser (UNNG) located 11-12 meters due south of the Sprinkler Geyser complex (Sprinkler Group, Lower Geyser Basin); UNNG is apparently = vent 48 of Wolf & Paperiello, 1989 (Report on the Kaleidoscope & Sprinkler Groups); vent is at 44° 33’ 14.87” North latitude, 110° 48’ 39.63” West longitude. Active today, as usual (e.g., at 1048). Didn't try to get intervals. Same geyser as seen in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAFJ6HhPyZM
15354 03 Aug 2020 @ 1645 --- JSJ UNNG-WCG-7 in the White Creek Group (Lower Geyser Basin) - basin full and very lightly overflowing to the north; moderately light to moderate bubbling & roiling over vent area.
15353 03 Aug 2020 @ 1643 --- JSJ Twin Butte Vista Spring - visible low spouting from at least two closely-spaced sites/vents (seen from road). Activity continued for the ~1.75 hours under observation.
15656 03 Aug 2020 @ 1030 --- Tara Root Pool, Norris GB. With Steamboat i.e., Root Pool had murky brown water and was about 1.5" down from the high water level mark.
15146 01 Aug 2020 @ 1901 --- JSJ Perpetuals Pool of Butch Bach (Tangled Geysers Group, Lower Geyser Basin) - inactive.
15143 01 Aug 2020 @ 1827 --- JSJ "Chunk Geyser" / "Piston Geyser" (next to Spasmodic in the Sawmill Group) - standing water in center of basin; pinkish-purplish staining in much of basin.
14984 13 Jul 2020 @ 1429 13 Jul 2020 @ 1514 nails Viewed from bench at Constant. From the vantage point on bench the geyser is just beyond and to the right (upslope) of small trees growing on slope. Eruption is quick, thin bursting - hard to photograph due to short duration and distance away. Bursts/jets are at least twice the height of the nearby young trees on the slope. For multiple burst sets all the bursts occurred within a few seconds. 1429 2 bursts. 1438 5 bursts. 1453 1 burst. 1456 1 burst. 1500 1 burst. 1507 2 bursts. 1509 6 bursts. 1514 3 bursts. Hard for this observer to tell if these are distinct eruptions or just larger activity in a long duration event. Steam from feature waxed and waned, but would need binoculars to see if activity was continuous. Based on note from Mkeller on Saturday July 18, 2020 this feature is about 30 feet NW of Collapsed Cave geyser.
14503 01 Jun 2020 @ 1458 --- ypcaribou Puff N Stuff Geyser - Saw water spit about a foot above the cone multiple times.
14222 19 May 2020 @ 1340 --- Janet Jones There were much higher water levels in the Frog Pools area including Liberty Pool. All of them were overflowing beyond their respective vents.
14199 18 May 2020 @ 1439 --- Janet Jones "Nemo" (next to Anemone) has a new steaming hole near it - apparently created by bison as there are two smaller holes closer to the boardwalk that are about that size. And there's another hole in that area (also steaming) that was different before (half filled in or smaller? Need to check photos).
13449 29 Aug 2019 @ 0928 --- steve Grey Bulger is perpetual but is only erupting from one vent
13226 14 Aug 2019 @ 0807 --- dank South scalloped spring bubbles reaching over sinter from west edge of spring
13700 13 Aug 2019 @ 1337 --- JSJ Pair Geyser (= RCN database name) in the southwestern Kaleidoscope Group (Lower Geyser Basin); vent is located at 44° 33' 15.35" North latitude, 110° 48' 48.74" West longitude. Basin moderately to nearly water-filled today (!). Bluish water.
13398 13 Aug 2019 @ 1334 --- JSJ LKNN002 in the Kaleidoscope Group (= 12 meters southeast of Three Vent Geyser). Empty/dry/water out-of-sight, very unlike yesterday.
13211 12 Aug 2019 @ 1725 --- JSJ Pink Cone's side vent - two small separate spits at 1725. Plus grumbling in subsurface conduit.
13203 12 Aug 2019 @ 1040 12 Aug 2019 @ 1455 JSJ In the Sprinkler Group - LKNN019 and North Angle Geyser were active today, as usual.
13209 12 Aug 2019 @ 1250 --- JSJ LKNN002 - basin & pool due southeast of Three Vent Geyser (Kaleidoscope Group, Lower Geyser Basin). Yesterday, its pool was a deep blue color. Today, the entire surrounding basin/depression was usually water-filled and often formed a continuous pool with a water-covered Kaleidoscope Geyser platform (to the right of 002). A narrow neck of water usually occurred between the two.
13208 12 Aug 2019 @ 1052 --- JSJ Pair Geyser (= RCN database name) in the southwestern Kaleidoscope Group (Lower Geyser Basin); vent is located at 44° 33' 15.35" North latitude, 110° 48' 48.74" West longitude. Basin empty and lightly steaming in the late morning.
13184 11 Aug 2019 @ 1314 --- JSJ Pair Geyser (= RCN database name) in the southwestern Kaleidoscope Group (Lower Geyser Basin); vent is located at 44° 33' 15.35" North latitude, 110° 48' 48.74" West longitude. Basin empty & dry & not steaming all afternoon.
13179 11 Aug 2019 @ 1305 --- JSJ LKNN002 - basin & pool due southeast of Three Vent Geyser (Kaleidoscope Group, Lower Geyser Basin). Deep blue water ~filling basin - don't think I've ever seen this before.
13114 08 Aug 2019 @ 1405 --- JSJ Limekiln Springs - frequent visible low to very low splashing from the summit.
13057 05 Aug 2019 @ 1500 --- JSJ Unnamed geyser behind Gray Bulger Geyser. Cycling from off to 1-2 feet high eruptions, angled toward Firehole Lake. No discrete eruption starts: off to spitting to larger spitting, etc., to full eruption. See attachment.
13008 03 Aug 2019 @ 1311 --- JSJ Perpetuals Pool of Butch Bach (Tangled Geysers Group, Lower Geyser Basin) - off / inactive. No activity at all in the Tangled Group this afternoon, except for East Tangled (TGG-1). No blippers even.
