Observed behaviors include: 1) very intermittent, very low spouts & blips & small splashes; 2) moderately frequent, low to very low spouts & blipping & small splashing; 3) light overflow events that filled the small proximal splash basin near vent; 4) relatively heavy overflow events involving water leaving the cone entirely and percolating into the proximal geyserite gravel. Observed overflow intervals (including "in overflow" events): 13m, 13m, 17m, 24m, 26m, 21m, 26m. Progressively heavier overflows as the afternoon progressed. Relentless cold wind made me bail. |
