GeyserTimes collects geyser eruption information.
Any user submitted geyser data, including "username" and "comments" are publicly viewable and licensed under the ODbL.
In order to have some control over the quality of data and the quality of the user-experience, GeyserTimes.org may collect information such as the IP address, browser type, language preference, referring site, and the time of each visitor request. These passively acquired data are not covered in the GeyserTimes.org license and will not be shared with anyone.
Personal Information is voluntarily supplied by you when you register and submit data to GeyserTimes.org. By registering, you allow us to associate your observations with a unique identifier (your username), so that you can track your personal observations. If you submit an unusual observation, we may e-mail you to request more details, but your email address and contact information will not be sold or distributed. For registered users, the visitor's email and a username will be stored on the server. Email and IP addresses will never be displayed nor sold, rented, nor leased to third parties. Cookies may be used to remember visitor preferences when interacting with the website.
