| Comments: | Occurred within minutes of a Grotto start. Feather and Feather's Satellite came on simultaneously. Feather was at least 6 ft. high. Southwest vents were on strong. Posthole was on, but very weak. Overflow from Mastiff at 1225 with some boiling. Mastiff dropped at 1229. Some surging in Giant, but nothing outside the cone. Feather off 1231. Bijou on very strong after hot period and still going without pause when I left at 1400. |
