Comments: | “North Angle Geyser” of Landis (1989) (Hydrothermal Observations in Yellowstone National Park, 1988, pp. 183, 341) in the Sprinkler Group, Lower Geyser Basin; = UNNG 9 / vent 9 of Wolf & Paperiello, 1989 (Report on the Kaleidoscope & Sprinkler Groups, pp. 25, 35-36); vent is 6 to 7 meters north-northeast of true Angle Geyser (see cited 1989 W&P report on pp. 25, 29-30) & located at 44° 33' 15.44" North latitude, 110° 48' 41.50" West longitude. ~2 minute long eruptions & ~4 minute intervals (start-to-start). Examples: 1510-early 1512, 1514-1516, ~mid-1518 to late1520, 1523-1525, 1527-1529, 1532 ns to 1533, early 1536 to 1538, 1540-1542, 1544 to late 1546. This continued all afternoon. |
