| Comments: | “Vertical Northwest Geyser” - unnamed geyser (UNNG) in the southwestern Sprinkler Group, Lower Geyser Basin; located 5.5 meters northwest of Vertical Geyser (= RCN database designation; a.k.a. LKNN023); UNNG = vent 22 of Wolf & Paperiello, 1989 (Report on the Kaleidoscope & Sprinkler Groups); UNNG’s vent is located at 44° 33' 14.59" North latitude, 110° 48' 40.17" West longitude. Not perpetual spouting, as in some previous years - was having geyser activity this afternoon. Noticed low to very low eruptions at 1519 to 1525 (becoming slightly intermittent in latter part of eruption & already done at 1526) & late 1528 to 1529 (done) & 1600 ns (already off at 1603). |
