Comments: | “Big Sprinkler Geyser”. Relatively large eruption from westernmost vent in the Sprinkler Geyser complex (Sprinkler Group, Lower Geyser Basin), located at 44° 33' 15.25" North latitude, 110° 48' 39.70" West longitude (using 2016 satellite photos & Google Earth coordinates). This is ~4.25 meters southeast of West Sprinkler Geyser. Only observed eruption this afternoon (Fountain eruptions had obscuring steam, however). Eruption from 1416 to 1417. |
