Comments: | “South Sprinkler Geyser” - unnamed geyser (UNNG) located 11-12 meters due south of the Sprinkler Geyser complex (Sprinkler Group, Lower Geyser Basin); UNNG is apparently = vent 48 of Wolf & Paperiello, 1989 (Report on the Kaleidoscope & Sprinkler Groups); vent is at 44° 33’ 14.87” North latitude, 110° 48’ 39.63” West longitude. Observed <1 minute duration eruptions for most of the afternoon: 1444-1445, 1455 + ~36s to 1456 + ~11s (duration = ~35s), 1506, latest 1516 to 1517 + ~49s (duration = ~50s), 1528-1529, 1540-1541, 1553-1554, 1605-1606, late 1617-1618, 1629, 1640-1641, 1651, 1702, 1713-1714, 1724-1725, 1735-1736, 1746-1747, 1758, 1809, 1820-1821, and 1831-1832. Observed closed intervals: 10m (one), 11m (twelve), 12m (six), 13m (one). |
