Main vent lightly steaming, no splashing or increase in steam during 21 min pause. 1643, Bottom vent lightly splashing, 1645 Lower Mortar splash, both continued splashing until River back on at 1650, followed almost immediately by H,G&A. All vents intermittent and water levels fair. Approx 1700, High became steady at 1-3' and Gold variable to 1' with fair water. Scott G. had arrived and commented that water levels looked like they were improving and by 1710 H was 4-6', Gold was still no more than 1' but had began "pooling". Lock called at 1714 after radio problem/operator error delay, First splash out of Main immediately proceeded Main/East vent start and surge in upper and lower Mortar. Mortar started at 1719. |
