| Comments: | Based on log at WT Ranger Station, this may be a closed interval of 26h 59 min. Observed for roughly 90 min prior to eruption, pool was high with OF covering about 2/3 of platform. With binoculars from road was able to note increasingly frequent "pushes" with bubbling and upwelling of water till one of these resulted in eruption. Decent 50ft height, still angled. Main eruption 12 minutes with continuing resumption of higher water (not really afterbursts) till 1454,when all activity ceased abruptly |
