Comments:0927 Bijou off and water rising quickly in Mastiff. 0929 SW Vents spitting and water in Feather. 0929:56 SW Vents on (2m04s prior to Feather) and Cave overflowing. 0932:00 Feather on, Feather's Satellite on about 55s later. Rust on, then at 0932:57 Cave started to bubble and at 0933:40 Mastiff had its first strong push and started boiling 1-3 feet. At 0934:16 Cave began erupting to 2-3 feet and Turtle was bubbling and overflowing. Mastiff continued to boil on and off to as much as 4 feet with heavy runoff that covered India. At 0937:25 Mastiff dropped, then Bijou came on and Cave quit at 0938:00. Feather and Feather's Satellite got weaker but did not quit. At 0938:33 Posthole began to bubble and Feather and FS got stronger. Posthole, Posthole Satellite, and Slit were active with depth charging in Mastiff, but the vertical surging in Giant was low and brief; most of the taller surges were angled. Feather shut off at 0945:00. This hot period occurred between Grotto eruptions. Mastiff started overflow and boiling fairly late after Feather and stayed up longer than I have seen thus far this season, about 5.5 minutes. Turtle had only steamed, no water, during previous strong hot periods during this interval.
