Comments: | "Big Sprinkler Vent". Decent-sized eruption from a vent in the Sprinkler Geyser complex (Sprinkler Group, Lower Geyser Basin). Eruption is on the scale of summer 2014's Little Crack Geyser and Vertical Geyser activity. Vent is at 44° 33' 15.25" North latitude, 110° 48' 39.70" West longitude (using 2016 satellite photos & Google Earth coordinates). This is ~4.25 meters southeast of West Sprinkler Geyser. It is the westernmost vent in the Sprinkler Geyser complex. Eruption from 2008 to 2009. |
