Comments: | Unnamed geyser (UNNG) in the southwestern Sprinkler Group (Lower Geyser Basin). Vent of UNNG is 17 meters southwest of Little Crack Geyser. UNNG vent's coordinates: 44° 33' 14.44" North latitude, 110° 48' 41.22" West longitude. (= vent 26 of Wolf & Paperiello, 1989, Report on the Kaleidoscope & Sprinkler Groups) Still active today. Example eruptions: 1243 (~0.5m duration), 1250 (<0.5m duration), 1252 (~0.5m duration), 1253 (very brief & low), latest 1253-1254 (~0.5m duration), 1255 (~0.25m duration), 1256-1257 (~0.75m duration). No eruptions at all during Little Miser Geyser’s 1256 to 1333 eruption. When Little Miser was done, the UNNG started up again: 1334 (brief), 1335 (very brief), 1337-1338, 1338-1339, 1340-1341 (initially intermittent), 1342 (possibly near start), 1343, 1345, 1346, etc. Also at 1524. Saw one brief eruption at 1531-1532, during a second Little Miser Geyser eruption this afternoon - didn't watch the UNNG closely to see if it was erupting all along or was inactive, as it was during the first Little Miser eruption I saw. |
