Comments:364 days 23 hours 45 min. post previous shortest interval. Unbelievably heard and felt from bookstore during thunderstorm. Turned to steam at 1652. Very tall and muddy. Upon returning from bookstore after posting eruption, both vents shut down at 1727, restart after 5 sec to 250+'.1729 NV pause SV to heavy steam, then SV pause at 1730, restart another NV to 300+' . At 1732 both vents paused, almost simultaneously, then quickly restarted to 300 ft.. 1735 pause, immediately restarted to 200+'.. NV mostly steam at 1738. 1743 mixed water from both vents. Mostly steam at 1757. FB at her finest! 1812 Carol reports from Cistern that it is 4" below overflow. Makes one wonder about the seismograph.

great viewing conditions as the wind direction blew the water and steam to the south west. Toward the trees and Echinus.

Seismic trace is muddied by surface wave arrivals from the M6.1 earthquake near Tonga. My best guess is that 1640 is the start time.

No flags for this eruption.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1HqEH-nmSibCEVqQ0nUIUBXqQyl3zCBjoTrace as seen on YNM. Noteworthy of this eruption, is that the eruption started at 1639 E and was loud enough to be picked up by the seismo in the first 3-4 minutes. Thereafter it apparantly was too 'quiet' to be picked up, up until 1650.

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1frJgYQs6beDZP_XGK1Jo3yf2JqkCpjfrAs seen on the Tantalus Creek gauge. Tallest spike is SB's. Discharge before spike: 6.96 cfps @ 1745 (attributing it to preciptation; before preciptation 3.83 cfps @ 1430-1500), first increase @ 1800 to 10.5 cfps. Highest 11.2 cfps @ 1815. Δ = 4.24 cfps.
