Comments: | Unnamed geyser between Drain & Deep Blue in the Kaleidoscope Group (Lower Geyser Basin); vent is located at 44° 33' 16.32" North latitude, 110° 48' 47.30" West longitude. Never seen this vent erupt before today. All were <1 minute in duration - between 0.5 and 0.75 minutes long each. It would have series and pauses, with intervals varying between series. Eruptions: 1256-1257, 1310-1311, 1317, 1320-1321, 1324, 1327, 1330-1331, 1334-1335, 1338, 1342, 1347 (end of series), 1432-1433 ini (start of series), 1441-1442, 1451, 1501, 1511-1512 (end of series). I suspect eruptions ceased after this because Drain Geyser's water level had risen sufficiently to drown the UNNG. Closed intervals during latter part of 1st observed series: 3m to 5m. Closed intervals during 2nd observed series: 9m to 10m. |
