Comments: | “Little Miser Geyser” - an otherwise unnamed fountain-type geyser located between Little Crack Geyser & Impatient Miser Geyser in the Sprinkler Group (Lower Geyser Basin) (= 10 meters west-northwest of Little Crack Geyser & 6.5 meters southeast of Impatient Miser Geyser; UNNG is vent 12A of Wolf & Paperiello, 1989, Report on the Kaleidoscope & Sprinkler Groups); UNNG vent is at 44° 33’ 14.97” North latitude, 110° 48’ 41.12” West longitude. Saw one Little Miser eruption this afternoon - duration ~23 minutes. Eruption from 1554 to 1617. 1554 - started from a low pool; 1556 - water-filled basin; 1557 - runoff heading south and toward Little Crack Geyser's basin; 1558 - runoff has reached Little Crack. In concert with Impatient Miser's 1559 to ~1603 eruption series. |
