| Comments: | Eruption occurred overnight {?} between Jan 26-27. As of 2020/04/26 only a few eruptions have been entered between this one and 1998/07/20 but F&M were active during this time. From the Aug 1988 Sput: "Recent post-Spring-Runoff intervals have ranged from 3days 02hours to 5days 07hours." From the Oct 1988 Sput: "After a stretch during late August-early September during which Fan & Mortar were rather erratic and had all eruptions during the darkness of night they have returned to more respectable and reliable intervals. These have lately been on the order of 4 to 6 days." From the Jan 1989 Sput: "The mid-December intervals were apparently around 7+ days in length. The use of markers showed this to not be pairs of 3½ day intervals." |
