Comments: | I pulled in just as the eruption began. A superburst occured while I was parking. Based on the measured eruption the next day of 190ft, I estimated this one to be well over 220ft, probably 240ft. Eruption column looked like Giant Geyser from the vent, a foamy wave of white water lapped up on to the gravel berm and the parking lot got soaked. Besides SB I have not seen that much water get produced by a geyser in one fell swoop, not even Giant. YMMV, I called it a superburst :D |
