Comments: | Very brown grayish eruption. Runoff smelled of musty, rotting organic material. Overflow into Whirligig changed Whirligig's color to a milky blue at the main vent. Green stuff in the runoff channel was changed to a dirty green and there is grey debris from the geyser in the runoff channel. Duration is unknown. I first noticed the increased runoff coming down the channel and then overflowing the channel. From the Constant bench I could see several spikes over the berm that exceeded the height of the small pine tree at the north-ish end of the berm. The spikes were brown, not clear, and this looked very much like a "clearing the throat" type of eruption. The spikes themselves reminded me of other geysers that throw spikes of water like Giantess or Sawmill. |
