| Comments: | Spasm and Jet were active before Fountain and Clepsydra was pausing every few minutes. Fountain started from high pool level about 12-16 inches below the rim. Morning's water level was also high. Clepsydra stopped erupting in the first few minutes of Fountain and stayed off until it gradually started coming back at 1859. Morning's Thief had one large eruption during Fountain, after which the water came back up, overflowed into Morning, and stayed at that level for the rest of Fountain's eruption, boiling heavily from 1820-1828 and finally dropping a minute after Fountain quit. After Fountain ended, its pool dropped down slowly but stayed visible from the railing, then started to rise again as Clepsydra was restarting and had reached the level it was at prior to the eruption by 1927. |
