Comments: | Observations started at 1545. Dep was empty at 1553 and was post-crash. The pool rose very well and at 1622 the pool was 1b. At 1625 the pool rose rapidly and reached 1a. The pool began to crash at 1630 and continued dropping before holding at 1c at 1632. HOLD 1C 1632. The pool continued rising and was 1b at 1638. 10 min into the HOLD 1C gained 1a position. 1a at 1642. The pool continued climbing (at this point I begged SF to get on, which meant the pool was MASSIVE). Ear covered, back rim covered, lip covered at 1644. Massive Marmot 1644 dropped Depression by a bit but it rebounded quickly. Pool was impressive at 1644 and I knew it was gonna erupt. 1645:00 flood and eruption start. First burst at 16:45:13. This was the largest eruption that I have seen on the webcam, there were bursts out of both vents that were massive and wide. Alot of runoff and you could see how the snow melted around the runoff channel, very impressive, absolutely massive! Eruption end 16:48:22, it even had some small bursts as the pool drained. D= 3m 22s. HOLD 1C lead time 16 minutes. For note, this was the 20th consecutive HOLD 1C that resulted in an eruption, making 20/20 HOLD 1C's resulting in an eruption, wow! |
