Comments:Lock initiated, first pause 1729. Wind direction toward bridge, Mortar was mostly hidden by steam but we had great viewing for Fan. Main Vent had a surge that landed on the railing around Norris Pool, and another that hit the back ledge of Backwater Spring. Norris Pool rose about 1" and did not increase boiling. Spiteful dropped very slightly toward the end of F&M.

Wonderful eruption. Locked, Upper Mortar had a small surge and then a huge surge, and Main took off shortly followed by East. Wind solidly towards the benches & bridge and COLD! One surge from MV made it way past the gravel and made it about as far as the back of Norris pool (a bit to the left). Norris pool rose about an inch by the time of the first pause.
