| Comments: | 0600 River on, 0610 River off (River pause). 0618 Bottom Vent (d=30s). Water levels rose in Lower Mortar but dropped before it could build to an eruption. Main Vent roared and huffed steam, but no visible splashes were recorded. 0627 River and Gold on (pause d=17m), 0632 Angle on, 0637 ie Frying Pan, water levels very good, 0643 water levels began to drop, 0646 Upper Mortar first water, surges continued until eruption was initiated by Upper Mortar at 0651. |
