This was the last eruption on Koenig's list until the 6/23/1981 eruption. HK noted the duration of the eruption was 8 minutes. However, Morning was active in 1978. Per Hutchinson report it rejuvenated on or about August 19, 1978 and the active phase lasted "only about one month."
