Comments:Not a full eruption. Just 3 splashes 2-3 feet high over a few seconds. Edit 12/4/2013: On examination of a map and photos of the area, this was actually Round Spring. I saw it several times during the two weeks I was in Yellowstone in September, maybe half the times I walked by it, which was quite a few times due to a long Fan and Mortar interval. David Goldberg said he had been seeing it pretty often, too. And of course Barrett Southworth reported it earlier in the summer. I'm not sure whether this is the same vent that has very rarely been active in the past. I don't even know whether there are multiple vents in the pool. The behavior definitely seems different than previous activity for Round Spring, though.
