Comments: | From 0800 to 0854 I watched high water levels occasionally pulse to overflow. One push sent heavy overflow into the standing water in front. Then the water level dropped a few inches and Depression boiled. Levels dropped futher. I left and came back at about 1005 to see water levels again pulsing to overflow. A larger push than before sent water tumbling in all directions, and this time the boiling occurred with the push. The eruption started at 1017 with a splash. Water levels then dropped a few inches, with a pause of about 30s. Vigorous pulsing resumed and more splashes continued. The last splash was by far the largest. After the eruption, the pool drained to a few inches below the ridge where the shallow and deep sections meet. |
