| Comments: | This eruption was reported by a guide but originally assumed to be Morning's Thief. In retrospect, this was almost certainly Morning. The duration of Fountain, which started at 1441e, was 112 minutes, which is typical of a Fountain duration when it erupts in concert with Morning. Also, a photograph provided by a visitor shows a very large burst coming from Morning's crater. The time for this entry, 1444 ns, is based on a 4:44 p.m. time stamp on the visitor photo, adjusted to MST based on the position of the sun. |
