| Comments: | Vixen- dramatic change in the last 2 days. Visitors and staff report it was still gangbusters with 1-2 eruptions per minute 2 days ago. One eruption seen yesterday as far as I know. Today I arrived to wet platform at 1049 and all 4 runoff channels wet (former pathway channel still flowing). Water did come up to inner circle height, but stayed there the rest of the day. Pine needles in the (former pathway) runoff channel were not moved when I left for Whirligig and a break, and entire platform still bone dry. Left it at 1732- so that was I = greater than 7 hours. What's next?!?! |
