Comments:Events seen in progress. Bottom Vent had two eruptions and there was one Lower Mortar minor lasting 2m30s. Upper Mortar initiated the eruption 24 minutes after the start of River. East Vent started the eruption, then Main filled water and the rest of the vents took off. "This eruption was one of the more powerful eruptions that I have seen. Water from Fan repeatedly crossed the path and left huge puddles in front of the Norris Pools. I was so impressed with Fan that I didn’t pay any attention to the height of Upper Mortar.... Spiteful dropped about 1 1/2 to 2 inches. No rainbows, but it was still a phenomenal eruption." The Geyser Gazer Sput Vol. 15, No. 5, p. 17.
