Comments: | between 5:10 and 5:13 probably 5:12 or 5:13 PM as the Southeast vent drained at 5:16 ~ The eruption was different in two respects: First at 5:00 pm a very powerful period of minor play was observed. The surging activity was unusually long – approximately one minute in duration. Second the water which filled the basin above the southeast vent was a dirty murky brown gray instead of the intense opalescent blue color that it has had for the eruptions seen so far this season. |
