| Comments: | MAJOR ERUPTION ~ High water phase lasted 10-12 min. But by 8pm – definitely in steam. Fallout to the N.E. Probably 150 people soon on the scene. AS & LD on hand shouting answers to questions. Eruption fairly clean not so many rocks or muddy water. BL didn’t arrive until 9:30 pm. Some spray drifted over viewing platform later in evening. |
