(wc) Had a dense plume of steam late this minute, which appeared to be originating from eastern vent. Steam decreased after ±15s. Also steam observed in area close to said vent (doesn't appear to be drift from Beehive). I'm not all that familiar with Scissors, but overall it seems Scissors is hotter than I previously observed. |

Scissors Spring – East vent had at least one more major eruption possibly in the last 3 to 12 days since its initial one on 2/1/83. Evidence is fresh wash & more coins in the runoff channel. Coins removed today included 14 USP, 2 USN & 1 USD an additional 34 cents and a total to date of $1.95. |
