North pool has a consistent vigorous roiling boil to 2' from 3 main areas. Water is clear and no longer steel gray. Main pool still has apple sized bubbles along the east edge. Alcove has some minimal fluctuation in water level. no boil observed.

19254 03 Sep 2021 @ 1217 03 Sep 2021 @ 1230 Art Crater spring appears to be having major eruptions about every 7 mins. Behavior is similar to major eruptions previously observed.
19222 01 Sep 2021 @ 1624 01 Sep 2021 @ 1721 Art Majors are back today Intervals - 6m 30s - 7m 11s Duration - 50s - 1m 28s Some huge North pool bursts 12-15’ Alcove bursts sometimes splashing into main pool. Water levels low enough between eruptions to separate north pool and main pool, water rising 12” during eruption making one pool.
19176 31 Aug 2021 @ 1550 31 Aug 2021 @ 1620 Art Crater Springs is having shorter height eruptions to about 2-3’. North pool continuously boiling then builds to a vigorous boiling eruption. Water level only rising about 6” during eruption then settles down to nearly flush with main pool between. Interval between eruptions of around 4 minutes. Eruptions lasting 1m 5s - 1m 30s. 18811 30 Jul 2021 @ 0905 30 Jul 2021 @ 1800 Micah Kipple It appeared to us that the eruptions generally got bigger throughout the day. Several of the last eruptions we saw sent water droplets to at least 10 feet and nearly hit the bumper logs but never crossed them.
18752 30 Jul 2021 @ 1000 --- Micah Kipple Please Note: durations are first splash to last splash out of the alcove.
18675 26 Jul 2021 @ 0939 26 Jul 2021 @ 1516 cb Pool is still a murky gray color.. The longer intervals from 0939 on represent the duration from start to when the Alcove vent stops spitting water and grumbling. The shorter ~2m intervals are when the north vent slows down and begins to drop but the Alcove continued. I wasn't including the Alcove ending spits in the 2m durations so I am noting the difference here.

16339 06 Oct 2020 @ 1206 --- cb Crater Spring pool is high and just covering the nose on the south edge of the pool with a moderate boil in this area. Also, moderate boil on the north edge that's blooping to 2". pool is clear and greenish. No boil in the Alcove area.

19291 15 Jul 2018 @ 1825 --- research-mab 7-15-2018 CB CRATER SPRING 1825 See Note under Steamboat Vixen platform & runoff channel is wet, water pooled in its tube but I did not see an eruption in the 15 minutes I observed. Pearl still has a yellow hue. Porkchop water is back up to the rim of the pool. Green dragon runoff is again clear however the runoff channels are coated in brown. Yellow funnel has no visible water but I can hear deep grumbling with splashing down deep. Echinus water level is good with nice runoff and a weak 2 vent boil. (hum!) Crater Spring water is LOW and murky brown/gray. Emerald Spring is the same, clear, green with weak convection waves. https://geysertimes.org/note.php?id=9202
9129 11 Jul 2018 @ 0912 --- Tara Down about 3 feet from rim and boiling and bursting to about 1 foor in north end of crater.
19276 27 Jun 2018 @ 1800 --- research-mab 6-27-2018 CRATER SPRING – 1800 CB see Note under Steamboat Vixen is back to more regular play. The steam vent by Vixen is quieter. Pearl has bubbles breaking the surface. Pork chop is down about 4" from the rim. Green dragon is putting out chocolate brown runoff. Yellow funnel is way low, muddy brown and turbulent. Blue mud steam vents water/mud is not visable. Crater Spring water level is low as is Echinus. Echinus run off channel is dry in many areas. This back basin is much the same as last night except for Vixen. sorry for the long note! Forgot about Emerald. . . cuz it is the same! Boiling in the East thumb, green and fairly clear. https://geysertimes.org/note.php?id=8912
