7633 25 May 1984 @ 1800 --- research-mab 5-25-84 Cistern Guardian Geyser is a continuous spouter, has been for at least a year. What is noteworthy is its bronz[e] colored metallic sulfide deposit lining which extends out to the vents upper rim & is estimated to be at least a centimeter thick.

6342 18 Jun 1972 @ 1015 18 Jun 1972 @ 1035 research-mab 06/18/1972 Guardian Geyser played 3 times; the first one was not seen but it washed away the marker & was apparently very near the time of the beginning of the eruption of Valentine. The second was at 10:30 for 2 minutes, the third at 1035 for 2m15s, the earlier one was again approximately twice as powerful as the last.
6539 02 Sep 1971 @ 1800 --- research-mab 09/02/1971 Guardian Geyser below Valentine appear to have a lot more vigor and activity: the opening to the “main vent” is larger and there is a considerable washing and erosion of the altered rhyolite ridge to the south of it.
6557 15 Jul 1971 @ 0800 --- research-mab 07/15/1971 Valentine Geyser & Guardian Geyser played sometime during the night. There is an increase in steam activity all around the Valentine, especially at Black Growler.
