so far this season it's been hard to ID Moxie save for a slight depression - today steam was visible from Constant bench and the actual feature is plainly visible from above Arsenic. Wondering if it cleared its vent around the same time as Pinwheel...may never know |

Moxie was playful mostly nonstop for the time I was there. I noticed that there would be pauses, usually less than 1m, after a larger burst. For the most part play was less than 1ft tall, but the larger bursts would get up to 5ft - which tended to be followed by a pause. I didn't notice any discernible pattern time-wise, aside from the pauses after a larger burst. Just fun to see it playing, something else to watch while waiting for Whirligig/Constant/Arsenic! |

Moxie was active on and off the whole time I was there. I didn't pay good attention to when it was off or on, but will do better to take note of that at my next visit. Some "bursts" (I would call them "splurts") were up to 2-3ft in height. |

08/07/1976 Arsenic eruptions seemed to be related to eruptions of Moxie
When observed from 430-500. When Moxie erupted Arsenic would decline to nearly nothing. Then it would surge forth strongly when Moxie was inactive. |
