Comments: | Saw the steam cloud with low level water spikes coming around the corner at Norris overlook with guests. We parked and hustled down. Arrived at platform at 1400 to find slightly tan-brown water mixed with steam from both vents to a max height of 50 feet with rocks being shot to 100+. Over the course of the next 30 minutes. Water waned and column became beautiful white, probably marking transition to steam sometime in the ballpark of 1420 |
