Note: | 7/13/1981: Sunday Geyser is still increasing in height. It is having 3 types of eruptions; majors, short majors, and majors coming from left vent as seen from Africa. For the first several minutes after a major eruption, there is no activity in the craters, but activity steadily increases to a major once it has started. One one eruption today, the left vent took over major play after several seconds of play from both vents. The activity is about as high from that vent as the other when it is active. The water is ejected in 3 jets, in a fan shape. Grover Schrayer III |
