| Note: | 09/21/1973 Africa – shows much decreased steam pressure both during the heavy water phase and the interim between heavy water phases; there is no more terrific roar; today, at 2:00 PM, Africa ended the high (~30’) watery eruption and dropped to a very low height, water lifted only 2 ft or so above the rim of the vent for ~ ½ min. then followed by fluctuating low water heights (3-10’), this present performance appears much in the style as it showed prior to Aug. 9. |
