19498 | 11 Sep 2021 @ 1719 | --- | Dave W | Ar 1719:49, UNNG-WSG-5 had a short/aborted eruption of 6s duration. Entering this as a comment and deleting as an eruption because GeyserTimes keeps rolling the subsequent full eruption at 1720:43 underneath this eruption as a secondary eruption, effectively hiding it. |

6267 | 07 Jun 2017 @ 1336 | 07 Jun 2017 @ 1353 | JSJ | Watched UNNG-WSG-5 (= UWGNN016) (West Side Group, Upper Geyser Basin) for almost 2 hours. Geyser is ~40 meters southeast of Bigfoot Spring (a.k.a. UWGNN009). Viewed from Daisy Trail. It has frequent eruptions, both "major" (= longer) and minor (= shorter in duration). Minors usually have ~1 minute intervals & ~4 to 6 second durations. "Majors" were usually ~15 to 25 seconds long. The first minor after a "major" is especially low/wimpy. The following are eruptions observed before getting a good feel for activity (i.e., didn't note major or minor for all of them): 1336 (for ~0.25m), 1338 to 1339, late 1340 to 1341, 1342 (minor, <5s), earliest 1344 (minor, <5s), late 1344 (minor/brief), late 1345 (minor/brief), late 1346, early 1348, early 1349, near-early 1350, 1351, and 1352. |
